Dr. Roy Autry is an organizational psychologist and an expert in
designing organizations to promote individual and team success. His
consultation helps organizations achieve strategic focus, increase employee
involvement, improve work flow and process, and create contribution-based reward
systems.
Roy holds a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Georgia State
University in Atlanta, Georgia. He also holds a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts (MA) from Georgia State University and a
Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Presbyterian College. He has held faculty
appointments at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia State University, and
Brenau College. He has conducted applied research in Organization
Strategy, Analysis, and Redesign. He has authored numerous professional
papers and speaks frequently to professional and civic organizations on topics
in organizational psychology.
Roy began his consulting career in 1974 and has maintained an active
and diverse practice. His clients include service and manufacturing
corporations in a wide variety of industries, state and federal government
agencies, and public utilities. His consulting approach is to optimize an
organization ‘s unique blend of people, information, and technology toward the
achievement of desired outcomes. Typically, Roy serves as an
organizational mentor to the leaders and members of organizations undertaking
system-wide improvements.
